It’s raining outside but don’t worry I am still here for our weekly beer events.

Wow, I could go on and on and on about the rain but why do that? I got other things to talk about like what’s up this weekend with beer tastings. So let’s get right into it.
If you are down in the Danville, VA area be sure to attend the Bright Leaf Brew Fest on Nov 14th from 14:00 to 20:00. If you visit their site you can get the latest list of brewers in attendance as well food vendors. This sounds like a fun time to be had.
Vingate 50 will have a Brewer’s Beer Dinner on Nov 17th. The event starts at 19:00 with a brewery tour.
On Nov 19th, Devil’s Backbone Brewing will celebrate their first anniversary. To celebrate the special event they will have their 4 2009 Great American Beer Festival winners on tap. Events start 16:30. Follow the link to see beer listing and the band playing that night.

Corks and Kegs: Will have their weekly tasting on Friday from 17:30 until 19:30. On hand will be Bells Christmas Ale,Harpoon Winter Warmer,Brooklyn Winter Ale,Weyerbacher Winter Ale,Flying Dog K9 Cruiser Winter Ale & Anderson Valley Winter Solstice
Once Upon a Vine South will also have a tasting on Friday from 17:00 until 20:00. The will be tasting Caracole Saxo, Nostradamus, Rochefort 8 and 10, and Unibroue Ephemere.
Finally I got a tip that the Kroger in Carytown will have a Customer Appreciation Day from 13:00 – 16:00. Food, beer and wine, all free! 10 breweries Thanks @RVABeerMan
