So it’s that time of the week, it’s time for beer.

Wow, compared to the past month this upcoming week is pretty tame. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything going on, nope we still got a few events for you to attend. So let’s started with Halloween Beer Tasting at Starr Hill Brewrey. Stop by their tasting room between noon and 5pm to taste some great brews. Come in costume to win some great prizes. They will have some activities for kids as well.
Speaking of Starr Hill Brewing Co, TJs @ The Jefferson will have a Starr Hill beer dinner next Friday. Be sure to follow the link to view the menu, dinner cost and reservation information.
On Wednesday Nov 4th, The Capital Ale House Midlothian is hosting a Ommegang Mussels dinner. Then on Saturaday (Nov 7th) at The Capital Ale House Downtown will have Screens n’ Suds. It’s listed as a celebration of the Arts of Concert Posters and Beercraft to Benefit Young Audiences of Virginia and the MS Society.
For those folks in Northern Virgina, Rustico Restaurant & Bar is having a Octoberslam Halloween Happy Hour. Then on Nov 5th, the Total Wine & Beer in Chantilly, VA is having a Beerrelevance: Old World vs. New World Beers class. This is geared for those fols who would love learn about the different styles of Old and New World beers.

Beer Tastings:
Corks and Kegs: Both the beer and wine tasting selections will be a “Manager’s Choice” Tasting is from 17:30 – 19:30.
Once Upon a Vine South: Blue Point tasting this Friday 17:00 – 20:00. They will be tasting Toasted Lager, Oktoberfest, RastafaRye, Hoptical Illusion, and Blueberry Ale.
Wine and Beer Westpark: They will have their monthly beer tasting on Wed Nov 4th from 17:30 to 19:00ish. Final list has TBD.
Cork and Fork (Gainsville, VA): Beer Social Hour at Cork and Fork (11/03) – The best way to learn is to experience, and with beer, the best way to experience is to taste.
