It’s time again for up coming beer events.

I am going to get right into the upcoming events in the area.
Corks and Kegs will have their weekly beer tasting. This week they will have very Anniversary Ale Sixteen Saison, Brooklyn Chocolate Stout and Starr Hill Northern Lights IPA.
Once Upon a Vine South will have their own beer tasting tomorrow as well. They will have Chris from Lagunitas tasting Hop Stoopid, Lucky 13, Lil Sumpin’ Extra!, Czech Pils, and Pale Ale.
For our friends up in Northern Virgina there is a beer festival going on. It’s 3rd Annual Northern Virginia Brewfest and it’s happening this weekend. Check out the link to find out tickets and times.
For our friends in the Carolinas, you too have a big festival going on. The Carolina Renaissance Festival is happening this weekend and they are having a Brewfest. Sounds like that can be a lot of fun.
Another festival happening in the Southwestern Part of Virginia is the Blacksburg Brew Do. This is the first time this is happening and it sounds like it will be fun. If you are in the Blacksburg area be sure to check it out.
If you can’t make any of those festivals this weekend then how about heading to Mekong’s Halloween Party. However, this isn’t just a normal Halloween party. Instead it is a celebration of two great breweries. Terrapin and Left Hand beers will on hand to be enjoyed through out the night. Contact Mekong to get your tickets.
Finally, for those of you in the Richmond area. Be sure to stop by Wine and Beer Westpark on Sat. It is their 4th Anniversary Celebration. They will have raffles and collecting gentley used children’s books for Reach Out and Read Book Drive. The celebration start at 1pm.
